It’s 2021, but I have a client who still requires deliverables on DVDs. But since the death of Adobe Encore in 2012, it’s been more and more difficult to author DVDs on macOS due to the (understandable) lack of modern tools that exist for this now-niche task.
But after much research and testing, I found a great way to make simple, self-playing DVDs by using ffWorks, which is a graphical front-end app for the command-line ffmpeg utility.
